Goal:
Radio Stations and media saavy non-profits are a natural fit for Mobile marketing utilizing the many MobileGive solutions. We recommend implementing a variety of polls and contests utilizing Text2Screen and Text2Broadcast with the following goals:
- Engage the audience thru mobile phones
- Drive listeners to the web site to see results
- Keep listeners and encourage word-of-mouth marketing
1. Text2Broadcast Contests
- Radio hosts can ask listeners to text in to enter to win tickets or other prizes.

2. Text2Broadcast Alerts
- Listeners are opted into an alerts list, or they can sign up via an online widget below:
- As the list grows, daily or weekly announcements can easily be sent (Tip of the Day, Verse of the Day, Featured Artist…) or the radio host can ask a question to the subscribers and send it via text message.
Who is your all-time favorite female Christian vocalist?
- When listeners/subscribers respond to the question via text reply, their responses show up in real time in a newly generated Live Text Wall poll that can be displayed anywhere or embedded easily into a web site.
- Listeners can also grab the code to any poll and place it on their blog or web site.

3. Text2Screen Live Text Wall
- Encourage listeners to text in their prayer requests, comments or shout-outs.
- A different poll can be created for each one and they can be displayed in any size on your web site. The embeddable code is automatically generated and can be pasted into any site or blog. Polls like the one below take less than 5 minutes to create and customize.
- Respondents to the polls can be opted into a Text2Broadcast mobile list (see #2).

4. Text2Give Widget and Live Call to Action
- If your radio station is a non-profit that has been provisioned to allow Text2Give donations (via the mobile Carriers and the Mobile Giving Foundation).
- The Text2Give Call-to-Action couldn’t be easier: Example (Text USVETS to 85944 to donate $10 to the US Veterans initiative). *Make sure your compliance language is displayed on your site.
- Send people to your web site and have them enter their phone number in the Text2Give widget to donate $10.
